You'll be able to find all our 5-year celebrations up here. There's going to be some great stuff.
Lawyers face each other often, especially in the Phoenix Wright series. Yet rarely do two defence attorneys go head-to-head. (Even if that would be dangerous. Apollo’s haircut would have somebody’s eye out.) So here it is: The ultimate Turnabout showdown…
Jurist A- TR: “If I had to choose who I like better just from that part alone, I’d go for Apollo. While his courtroom present isn’t made as known as that of Phoenix, what Apollo does have over Nick is… Actually, I forgot what I was going to say. Apollo is a bit more like myself, so maybe that’s it…?
Verdict: Apollo
Jurist B- GH: “This is hard. Apollo Justice is better as a game, but it wouldn’t be nearly as good if it wasn’t for Phoenix. I don’t know why, but I just prefer Phoenix.”
Verdict: Phoenix
Jurist A- TR: “I could easily repeat my one on “The Assistant” and just say that I’d munch on a bag of Snackoos and give it to Ema, but this’ll take a tinsy winsy bit more thought. Gumshoe’s way of being a “Idiot” type character works surprisingly well, and his way of calling everyone “Pal” is funnier than Ema’s “Scientifically” stuff, but Ms. Skye just trumps it, if only for their backstory in Rise From The Ashes. Oh yeah, and she‘s pretty. The best-looking woman in Ace Attorney. And I mean Ema, not Gumshoe, you idiot.”
Verdict: Ema Skye
Jurist A- TR: "Edgeworth is too near to being a "Real" person. He's almsot like an actual prosecutor, and so that's a bit annoying. But Klavier? A rock god and part-time prosecutor, who is actualy intrested in the truth, not just his record? We have a winner.
Verdict: Klavier Gavin
Jurist B- GH: "I could've gone on and said Edgeworth, but I can't just reject the Gavinners. Gavin is just the best. Edgeworth-Funny. Klavier-Awsome/cool/etc.
Overall, Klavier rocks."
Verdict: Klavier Gavin
Jurist A- TR: "*Claps and nods while grinning like a loon.*. Maya."
Verdict: Maya
Jurist B- GH: "*Pulls out a piece of talking wood and gives it my hat*. Trucy"
Verdict: Trucy
Jurist B- GH: “Well I might MUNCH just take MUNCH the bag of MUNCH MUNCH Snackoos, MUNCH that are so MUNCH tasty. The MUNCH idea of Golden Snackoos is very MUNCH scientific. And Ema is Very MUNCH funny.”
Verdict: Ema Skye
Jurist A- TR: “Well, the final two cases in the first Phoenix Wright are within the Top #10 in the series, but the final one in Apollo Justice is approaching the best overall. (Although that honour goes to Trials & Tribulations’ ending) But then the first Wright title is the first-ever Ace Attorney game, and then effectively acts as a tutorial for players, the first two cases not nearly standing up to the might of the future AA games. However, I’ll sadly have to hold that against it. But you probably guessed this from the fact I reviewed both and game one 89% and the other 85%, didn’t you…?”
Verdict: Apollo Justice
Jurist B- GH: "Well, the final two cases in the first Phoenix Wright are within the Top #10 in the series, but Apollo Justices cases are even better! Mainly the sheer amount of depth that was put into case 4 gives it a massive boost. If it wasn't for that, I'd probably say Phoenix Wright! In seven years, Capcom have since become cleverer. And have thought up more contradictions. More has come to the Ace Attorney world. Here comes Justice!
Verdict: Apollo Justice
