A remake of the NES classic was originally planned to appear on the original DS fairly close to launch, but never came through, although the game did in the end, albeit in a very different form, as more of a sequel on the Wii. The game is a vision of insanity, as you feed a blob jelly beans to make him magically transform into various objects such as anvils and ladders. This is from the same team as the Wii version, WayForward, who are responsible for so many other "Very good, but not quite great" games such as Mighty Flip Champs and Contra 4. Let's hope that's a monkey they can get off their back with this still title-only version of the jelly bean-guzzling platform/puzzler.
Nothing to do with the 3DS game, but TR has just finished the Wii version and has also just started work on a review. Hooray!
